Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a 25-year extension of a partnership that has lasted more than 55 years.

The Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, which broke ground in October 2024, gave rise to the extension, according to an April 2 news release from Cleveland Clinic.

The 210,000-square-foot practice facility, set to open in 2027, will also provide sports medicine care to the general public.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
