Cincinnati hospital opens medical center — 4 insights

Cincinnati-based TriHealth cut the ribbon on a 54,000-square-foot outpatient medical center in Liberty Township, Ohio, Jan. 23, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.

What you should know:

1. The medical center features primary care providers as well as orthopedic, OB-GYN, urogynecology, midwifery, neurology and physical therapy specialists. It also offers imaging services.

2. TriHealth has space for expansion as well.

3. TriHealth CEO Mark Clement commented on the expansion of outpatient care options, saying, “Today, nearly 70 percent of all the care we deliver throughout the TriHealth system is provided on an outpatient basis in comprehensive ambulatory centers like this one.”

4. The center began accepting patients in late December.
