The clinic opened July 12 under the leadership of Dr. Eyad Najdawi.

“Sioux City has always been underserved from a specialty standpoint. In pediatrics, we have no one in the specialty area,” Dr. Najdawi told Siouxland Public Media.

“The goal was to have a place in Sioux City where the specialists will travel to Sioux City from Omaha,” he said. “People from endocrine, GI, gastroenterologist, neurologist, pulmonologist, orthopedic, urologist. We will have as many as we can on a regular basis.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
