Central Vermont Medical Center holds ribbon cutting for new orthopedics center: 4 highlights

Berlin-based Central Vermont Medical Center, a part of The University of Vermont Health Network in South Burlington, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for an orthopedics center on Feb. 17, 2017, according to vermontbiz.

Here are four highlights:

 

1. Vermont Mutual Insurance Group donated $50,000 for the construction of the new center.

 

2. The center, which is located next to CVMC’s Rehabilitation Therapy, opened in November 2016.

 

3. The new orthopedics center is designed to offer comprehensive care, offering spine, foot, wound, sport, hand and reconstructive musculoskeletal care.

 

4. Judy Tartaglia has served as president and CEO of CVMC since 2007.
