The practice’s joint replacement surgeons started using the platform, called Ayva, to share customized pre- and post-operational care plans with patients, according to an Aug. 3 news release. The system also provides patients with appointment reminders.
The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics sees about 10,000 joint replacement patients each year. The practice plans to expand the use of Ayva to all of its surgeons.
