CDC to Spend $75.8M Helping States Respond to Infectious Diseases

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced an investment of approximately $75.8 million through the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Infectious Diseases Cooperative Agreement to help states respond to infectious diseases.

The funds, which will go to all 50 state departments, six local health departments and eight territories or U.S. affiliates, will help pay for more than 1,000 jobs.
