Carrum Health, Cleveland Clinic expand orthopedic, spine care in Florida

Carrum Health is partnering with Cleveland Clinic Weston (Fla.) Hospital to expand complex joint and spine care to members in Florida.

The move builds on a collaboration at Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute in Ohio, Carum Health said in a July 21 news release. Along with spine and joint care, the expansion into Florida will include bariatric services.

A digital health company, Carrum Health connects employers and employees to specialty Centers of Excellence through its value-based care platform. Employers can save up to 45 percent per episode of care using Carrum Health’s model of no copays, deductibles or surprise bills, according to a 2021 Rand study.
