California orthopedic group merges, launches neurosurgery division

Orange, Calif.-based Orthopaedic Specialty Institute is merging with other local groups and launching a neurosurgery division, the Orange County Business Journal reported March 28.

The practice is partnering with Sea View Orthopaedics and Southern Orange County Orthopedic Group, the report said. It’s part of the management services organization Quantum Health Services.

The merger adds California offices in Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo and San Clemente to Orthopaedic Specialty Institute’s footprint. The practice now has six clinics and 35 physicians.
