Leland, N.C.-based Brunswick Surgery Center is the first ASC in the U.S. to earn Orthopedic Center of Excellence designation in all four subspecialties from DNV.
The ASC earned designation certification for advanced hip and knee replacement, advanced spine surgery, advanced shoulder surgery and advanced foot and ankle surgery, according to a March 13 news release. Center of excellence designation recognizes facilities that provide optimal benefits to patients in accordance with standards set by CMS.
Brunswick Surgery Center opened in September 2020.
