Boulder Orthopedics, Mapleton Hill Orthopedics to merge: 5 notes

Boulder (Colo.) Orthopedics and Mapleton Hill Orthopedics, also in Boulder are merging on April 1, according to a BizWest report.

Here are five notes:

 

1. The practices will rebrand as Boulder Centre for Orthopedics.

 

2. The merged practice will move to a new office building being constructed in Boulder. It will take up 22,000 square feet in the new building.

 

3. Cathy Higgins, the current executive director of Boulder Valley Independent Practice Association, will serve as CEO of Boulder Centre for Orthopedics.

 

4. The merged practice will include 13 physicians as well as seven physician assistants, six physical therapists and one occupational therapist.

 

5. Boulder Centre for Orthopedics will maintain Boulder Orthopedics’ satellite office in Lafayette, Colo.
