Boston Children’s Hospital ranks No. 1 for pediatric orthopedics

Boston Children’s Hospital ranked first in the nation for pediatric orthopedics in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals for Pediatric Orthopedics clinical survey.

Fifty children’s orthopedic hospitals were rated for their treatment of conditions such as scoliosis, spina bifida and injuries relating to sports or complex fractures.

U.S. News considered the success in treating these conditions as well as surgical complications, infection prevention and additional data collected from children’s orthopedic centers.

BCH is a 404-bed hospital for pediatric healthcare. It performed over 26,500 surgical procedures and 214,000 radiological examinations last year.
