Tuckahoe Orthopaedics has served the community for more than 40 years, providing spine, joint and sports medicine care.

The practice has been affiliated with Bon Secours for several years, with physicians performing surgeries and having offices at Bon Secours hospitals in the Richmond area, according to the report.

The partnership will benefit Tuckahoe Orthopaedics’ patients through increased access to care and services, “including MRI, primary care, orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, home health and outpatient rehabilitation, along with the latest technology for spine and joint procedures,” Faraaz Yousuf, market president of Bon Secours Richmond, told the publication.

The transaction is expected to be finalized in October.
