Bluegrass Orthopaedics and Hand Care, Central Kentucky Orthopaedics to merge: 4 key notes

Bluegrass Orthopaedics and Hand Care and Central Kentucky Orthopaedics, both in Lexington, Ky., are set to merge on April 1, according to a Lexington Herald Leader report.

Here are four key notes:

 

1. After the merger, the organization will be called Bluegrass Orthopaedics.

 

2. Bluegrass Orthopaedics will include three full-service locations in Kentucky at Richmond Road, Hamburg and Georgetown.

 

3. The new organization will also add a physical therapy location in Georgetown, Ky.

 

4. The merged practice will include 13 physicians.
