Bad investments: 27% of physicians invested in stock/company that turned sour

Medscape interviewed 20,000-plus physicians across 29-plus specialties about financial management in its “Physician Wealth and Debt Report 2018.”

Physicians shared if they had ever fallen into bad investments during their careers.

1. Never have made a particular investment mistake: 34 percent

2. Invested in stock or company that turned out badly: 27 percent

3. Have not made any investments: 20 percent

4. Invested in something else that did not work out: 18 percent

5. Invested in real estate that turned out badly: 13 percent
