Atlanta spine practice lands PE investment

Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Summit Spine & Joint Centers was acquired by MSouth Equity Partners.

Summit Spine & Joint Centers operates ASCs and pain management clinics in the greater Atlanta area, according to a June 14 news release. It provides interventional pain management treatment to those with chronic pain.

Summit Spine & Joint has 21 providers including nurses, physicians and physician assistants. It has 17 locations, according to its website.

“We believe the MSouth team will bring the right resources and expertise to help Summit reach its next level of growth,” Rahman Vahabzadeh, managing director at Audax said.

Audax Private Debt helped finance the acquisition.
