Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic received the a Mayor’s Proclamation from the Athens-Clarke County Georgia Unified Government, according to an April 15 news release.
The AOC Proclamation recognizes the practice for 60 years of providing orthopedic care. The practice was founded in 1966 and has grown into 10 regional locations.
“Sixty years is a testament to the dedication of our physicians, staff and the community’s trust in our care,” CEO Michael Boblitz said in a news release. “Our roots in specialty orthopedics combined with today’s integrated approach position us as a leader in orthopedic care, from injury through recovery. At the end of the day, we’re focused on one mission: helping our neighbors get back to doing what they love.”
