HOPCo is already partnered with Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, an orthopedic practice in the Jacksonville market, and the practice will align with HOPCo and Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast to develop the physician community network that aims to better coordinate musculoskeletal patient care.
Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast and HOPCo are working together to develop a clinically integrated musculoskeletal platform that includes hospital service line management and programs to promote outpatient care. They will develop an ASC and the region’s first orthopedic specialty hospital in addition to a clinically integrated network of orthopedic practices.
“At the end of the day, this is about bringing together all musculoskeletal providers — hospitals, physicians, ambulatory surgery centers — into one highly integrated network and delivering quality and value to the community as we have done with partners in many regions,” said DeLyle Manwaring, executive vice president of health systems for HOPCo.
