Four things to know:
1. The 16,000-square-foot Mercy Clinic Neurosurgery is now home to husband-wife neurosurgical team Kenneth Foxx, MD, and Kate Czerniecka-Foxx, MD.
2. Almost 170 procedures have been performed at the center since it opened.
3. Drs. Foxx and Czerniecka-Foxx brought 24-hour neurosurgery care back to Mercy Fort Smith when they arrived in August.
4. The hospital was without neurosurgical care since 2016 and turned away about 2,200 neurological cases each year.
