Here are three things to know:
1. Aria Health wants to build on a 41-acre tract, with the village taking up 20 acres, with the rest of the tract remaining as open space, according to John VanLuvanee, Aria’s attorney.
2. Area residents reportedly oppose the hospital complex, concerned with the how much the development will bring tax revenue to the township, as well as request assurance that the remaining 20 acres will stay open.
3. Aria previously had plans to build a 375,000-square-foot-hospital, a 40,000-square-foot-ambulatory surgery center and a 40,000-square-foot medical office building on the tract, according to the report.
