Dr. Mellano earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles and completed his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, according to a Feb. 1 news release.
He received additional shoulder, elbow and sports medicine training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and has worked with professional athletes.
Beach Cities Orthopedics & Sports Medicine was founded in 2008 by Brad Thomas, MD, and William Mealer, MD. The practice began its affiliation with AOP in 2020.
