The toolkits aim at helping physicians navigate and benefit from new federal standards that require health insurers to standardize business practices for electronic funds transfer and electronic remittance advice. These new rules could save physicians’ money, reduce administrative hassles, cut paperwork burdens and allow physicians more time with patients.

The toolkits includes information on getting started with electronic transactions, key questions to ask vendors, guidance on information technology solutions as well as an outline of the rules and standards for electronic transactions.
