Alabama orthopedic practice names new leadership

Birmingham OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports named Joseph Bolen as its new manager.

Mr. Bolen stepped into his role Nov. 17 and has more than 15 years of healthcare administration experience, according to a practice news release shared with Becker’s Nov. 28. Before joining OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports, Mr. Bolen spent a decade leading reproductive medicine clinics.

“With the addition of Mr. Bolen, we will be able to strengthen our team and vision for patient-centered service and care,” orthopedic surgeon Perry Savage, MD, said in the release.

OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports was founded in 1987 and has locations in Birmingham, Hoover and Childersburg.
