Alabama orthopedic group breaks ground on $8M clinic

Montgomery, Ala.-based Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons has broken ground on a 14,269-square-foot clinic in Millbrook, Ala., according to an Oct. 8 Montgomery Advertiser report.

The project is expected to cost between $8 million and $9 million and open in late 2027.

The facility is expected to employ between 60 and 70 people and offer orthopedic injury care, physical therapy, hand therapy and MRI services. It will also provide orthopedic urgent care six days a week. 

The practice also operates locations in Montgomery, Wetumpka, Prattville and Tallassee, Ala.
