What you should know:
1. The 32,400-square-foot facility will offer patients access to several specialties including gastroenterology, orthopedics and urology.
2. The facility has in-house imaging services including: cardiac ultrasound, X-ray, echocardiography and EKG.
3. Akron Children’s will also open the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center at the facility. The center will provide care to women during high-risk pregnancies.
4. The Mansfield facility is the first of three new locations Akron Children’s is opening this year.
