AHCA: Which 10 cities will it impact most?

Wallethub analysts investigated how the American Health Care Act would impact cities in 2017. The study compared the premium subsidies average households in 457 U.S. cities would receive under the ACA versus the AHCA.

Here are the cities most impacted by the AHCA, based on the difference in premium tax credits received compared to the ACA; the higher the difference, the more impacted the city.

 

1. Yuma, Ariz.

2. Anchorage, Alaska

 

• Average AHCA tax subsidy: $5,000

• Average ACA tax subsidy: $10,398

4. Reading, Pa.

5. Chattanooga, Tenn.
