ACS designates NY hospital as Level II trauma center with orthopedic, neurosurgery — 3 insights

The American College of Surgeons certified Orange Regional Medical Center in Orange County, N.Y., as a Level II adult trauma center, reports Mid Hudson News.

1. ORMC features physicians specializing in orthopedics, neurosurgery, critical care and radiology among other specialties.

2. It is the 12th hospital in New York State to be certified as a Level II adult trauma center.

3. ORMC has 383 beds and employs over 2,400 healthcare professionals. Over 600 physicians have privileges at the hospital.
