AAOS names Dr. Ronald Navarro to board of directors: 4 notes

Ronald A. Navarro, MD, of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has been named a member of the AAOS board of directors.

1. Dr. Navarro manages Kaiser Permanente’s orthopedic services in southern California as regional chief of orthopedic surgery.

 

2. His involvement with the AAOS spans over 15 years and he currently serves on its Board of Specialty Societies Communications Committee.

 

3. Dr. Navarro represents all California orthopedic surgeons as a member of the California Orthopaedic Associations’ Presidential Line.

 

4. He has co-authored several shoulder and knee surgery articles and has participated in nationally and internationally presented research.
