The committee, which met in the spring to consider proposals, chose the CME Courses Committee pilot project and the Poster Enhancement Project.
The CME project features continuing medical education courses to be presented through webinars, videos, multimedia presentation, teleconferences and more. The project will allow AAOS fellows to obtain CME credits without traveling.
The Post Enhancement Project will enable poster presenters at the 2013 Annual Meeting to add narration and explanation to their posters, serving as a guide to the research. Attendees can listen to the presenter’s commentary through smart phones, tablets and computers.
