9 Statistics on Patients Seen Per Week

Most physicians see between 50 and 75 patients per week, according to the Medscape Physician Compensation Report 2014.

The report includes responses from more than 24,000 physicians in 25 specialties.

 

When asked how many patients they see every week, respondents reported the following:

 

•    Fewer than 25 — 8 percent
•    25 to 49 — 18 percent
•    50 to 75 — 22 percent
•    76 to 99 — 18 percent
•    100 to 124 — 16 percent
•    125 to 149 — 6 percent
•    150 to 174 — 3 percent
•    175 to 200 — 2 percent
•    More than 200 — 2 percent
