• Declining reimbursements from all payers — 42 percent
• Declining reimbursements from commercial payers — 39 percent
• Declining reimbursements from government payers — 36 percent
• Hiring part-time or remote employees for other support services — 23 percent
• Offset investments in IT — 18 percent
• Outsourcing of other support services — 17 percent
• Transition to ICD-10 — 12 percent
• Participation in an ACO — 9 percent
Note: The survey polled 1,051 physicians across 25 specialties.
