Nearly 60 percent of physicians employed by healthcare organizations have a daily patient quota, according to Medscape’s Employed Doctors Report 2014.

The report includes responses from 4,600 physicians.

Here are the daily patient quotas of the approximately 60 percent of employed physicians with quotas:

•    Less than 10 — 2 percent
•    10 to 15 — 12 percent
•    16 to 20 — 22 percent
•    21 to 25 — 16 percent
•    26 to 30 — 5 percent
•    31 to 35 — 1 percent
•    More than 35 — 1 percent
