8 orthopedic practice moves in the South in 1 month

Here are eight orthopedic practice openings, relocations and more in the South that Becker’s has reported on since May 15:

1. OrthoVirginia relocated its Wytheville, Va., practice to the campus of Wytheville Community Hospital. 

2. Bristol, Tenn.-based ​​Appalachian Orthopedics opened a new location in Elizabethton, Tenn.

3. Reston (Va.) Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, opened a new spine and orthopedic center. 

4. Atlanta-based Peachtree Orthopedics opened a new clinic location in Dawsonville, Ga.

5. Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho opened a new orthopedic urgent care and physical therapy location in Mebane, N.C.

6. Boca Raton, Fla.-based West Boca Medical Center opened the Boca Center for Orthopedic and Spine Care in Parkland, Fla.

7. Birmingham-based OrthoAlabama opened a satellite clinic in Pell City, Ala.

8. Atlanta-based Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute – Sports Medicine relocated its Buford, Ga. office to a new location.
