The data included in the report has been taken from the 2014 Medscape Compensation Report, which includes responses from 24,000 physicians.

 

Here are the numbers of patients pediatricians see every week, according to the report:

 

•    Fewer than 25 patients — 8 percent  
•    25 to 49 patients — 15 percent
•    50 to 75 patients — 18 percent
•    76 to 124 patients — 40 percent
•    125 to 149 patients — 11 percent
•    150 to 200 patients — 5 percent
•    More than 200 patients — 2 percent
