7 orthopedic practices opening new offices

Becker’s reported on seven orthopedic practices opening new locations in February.

1. Benton, Ark.-based Saline Clinics has opened a new facility specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. Jeffrey Johnson, MD, and Scott Walsh, MD, will provide care at the new Bryant, Ark., location. 

2. Mediplex Property Group has opened a new facility in Newtown, Pa., fully leased to Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. The new location replaces Rothman’s former Newtown-based facility.

3. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute also unveiled its relocated Lake Nona office in Orlando, Fla. 

4. Phoenix-based Barrow Brain in Spine opened an office at HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in the same city.

5. Willis Knighton Bossier Orthopedics has opened a satellite clinic in Ruston, La. The clinic’s physicians include Vik Chatrath, MD, and John Mays, MD. 

6. East Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics has created a new comprehensive spasticity management clinic. The clinic is led by Zachary Bohart, MD, a board-certified physiatrist and spasticity management expert. 

7. Lakeland, Fla.-based Watson Clinic is opening an orthopedic office in Winter Haven, Fla. Watson Clinic Orthopaedics at Winter Haven will provide orthopedic surgery and sports medicine services including hand, hip, thigh, knee, leg, shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle treatment.
