Here are five orthopedic and spine practices that have opened in the South, as reported by Becker's since Jan. 6:
1. Duane Pitt, MD, opened Spine Disorders of Texas, a new advanced spine care practice in Flower Mound, Texas.
2. Christus Health started scheduling patient appointments for its new Beaumont, Texas-based Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, which opened Jan. 13.
3. Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin (Texas), an affiliate of Growth Orthopedics, opened a new location in Leander, Texas.
4. Germantown, Tenn.-based Campbell Clinic opened a new location in Collierville, Tenn., to replace its former practice in the area.
5. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Southeast Orthopedic Specialists opened a new clinic location in St. Augustine, Fla.
