6 spine, orthopedic practice moves in the Northeast

Here are six spine and orthopedic practice openings and additions in the Northeast that Becker’s has reported on since Jan. 3:

1. Mediplex Property Group opened a new facility in Newtown, Pa., fully leased to Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. 

2. The Brain and Spine Institute at UConn Health in West Hartford, Conn., is gradually opening its new building in Farmington, Conn.

3. Yonkers, N.Y.-based Saint Joseph’s Medical Center added Southern Westchester Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and its orthopedic surgeons David Lent, MD, and Eric Spencer, MD, to its network.

4. Westfield, N.J.-based Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine opened its fifth facility in Morristown, N.J.

5. Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health opened a state-of-the-art orthopedic suite at its Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, N.J.

6. East Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics added family-owned practice Cranston, R.I.-based Orthopaedic Associates to its network of facilities.
