Four quick facts:
1. Six orthopedic surgeons, one sports medicine specialist and five physician assistants joined SSM Health Bone & Joint, which is part of St. Louis-based SSM Health Medical Group, at the start of the year.
2. SSM Health said the partnership will enable it to expand orthopedic offerings and concentrate on patient success.
3. SSM Health Bone & Joint and OSOI will provide joint replacements, spine surgery, pain management services, sports medicine and more at six central Oklahoma locations.
4. As Becker’s previously reported, Norman Regional partnered with five other former OSOI physicians. They will continue seeing patients at their clinics in Norman and Midwest City, Okla.
