The report includes responses from 1,200 physicians, 30 percent of whom are primary care physicians and 76 percent of whom are specialists.
When asked about their expectations regarding the quality of medicine in the next five years, respondents reported the following:
1. Improve — 17 percent
2. Remain Unchanged — 24 percent
3. Decline — 59 percent
