Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho has opened its 10th location in the Foothills region in Sherrills Ford, N.C., according to a June 27 report from the Hickory Daily Record.
Orthopedic specialists at the new center will treat bone, joint, muscle and tissue disorders. It will also offer physical and hand therapy appointments.
EmergeOrtho is the largest physician-owned practice in the state and the sixth largest in the nation, according to the report.
EmergeOrtho now has more than 45 offices across 22 counties.
