Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health will bring back orthopedic surgery after taking a hiatus for more than a year.

Orthopedic surgery at the St. Joseph campus in Cheektowaga, N.Y., is expected to resume March 29, according to a March 19 news release. Catholic Health plans to expand the orthopedic surgery program by shifting cases from Sisters Main St. Campus in Buffalo to St. Joseph.

The St. Joseph Campus, which was Catholic Health's primary COVID-19 treatment center, will also be redeveloped for outpatient and ambulatory care.
