5 statistics on companies’ compensation for physicians — 55% have at least 1% exceeding the cap

Cutting Edge Information released the “Developing and Maintaining Annual Compensation Caps for HCPs” report, outlining physician compensation for work with companies.

The study shows the percentage of healthcare providers who received more than the surveyed companies’ annual compensation limits in the past two years among companies maintaining compensation caps; however, 45 percent of companies didn’t exceed their caps.

 

1. Fifteen percent of the companies reported 1 percent of their HPCs exceeded the cap.
2. Twelve percent of the companies reported either 2 percent or 3 percent of their HPCs exceeded the cap.
3. Nine percent of the companies reported 5 percent of their HPCs exceeded the cap.
4. Twelve percent of the companies reported 10 percent of their HPCs exceeded the cap.
5. Three percent of the companies reported 15 percent of their HPCs exceeded the cap.
