5 spine centers to know

Here are five spine practices to know:

Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery (Columbia, S.C.). Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery was formed by Columbia Neurosurgical Associates and Midlands Orthopaedics in a merger. The practice began performing high-acuity spine surgeries and joint surgeries in the outpatient setting in 2012, CEO Janet Carlson said in an email to Becker’s.

Musculoskeletal Surgery Center (Thornton, Colo.). Musculoskeletal Surgery Center was founded in 2001. The practice offers spine, orthopedic and podiatry services.

OrthoGeorgia Spine Center (Macon). OrthoGeorgia has four spine specialists. The center uses Medtronic’s Mazor X robotic guidance system.

Southwest Florida Neurosurgical & Rehab Associates (Cape Coral, Fla.). Southwest Florida Neurosurgical & Rehab Associates has five neurosurgeons. Services offered include spinal stenosis treatment, sacroiliac joint fusion and discectomy.

Spine Wellness Center (Westport and Bridgeport, Conn.). Spine Wellness Center has two locations and treats conditions including scoliosis, degenerative spine conditions and herniated discs. The practice is affiliated with Hartford (Conn.) Healthcare.
