5 orthopedic practice moves in the Northeast in 1 month

From new clinic openings to rebrandings, here are five orthopedic practice moves happening in the Northeast, as reported by Becker’s since Jan. 7:

1. Boston-based Mass General Brigham opened a 14,000-square-foot sports medicine and orthopedic walk-in center.

2. Penn State Health and Lancaster Orthopedic Group, both in Pennsylvania, inked an affiliation agreement.

3. Portland, Maine-based Spectrum Orthopaedics rebranded to Orthopaedic Associates of Maine and joined management services organization Growth Orthopedics.

4. Geisinger finished a $12 million expansion project at its facility in Port Matilda, Pa.

5. New York City-based NYU Langone Health and NYU Langone Orthopedics acquired Rothman Orthopaedics of Greater New York.
