Orthopedic practices across the South are steadily adding locations, with both independent groups and major health systems expanding their regional footprints.
Here are five recent orthopedic practice openings to know, as reported by Becker’s since July 15:
- Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho opened a walk-in orthopedic urgent care and physical therapy services location in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
- Doral, Fla.-based OrthoNOW opened its fourth clinic location in South Florida, providing walk-in care for muscle, tendon, and joint conditions.
- UPMC Orthopaedic Care opened a new location at UPMC Western Maryland and added George Herriott, MD. The practice is located in Cumberland, Md.
- Tampa-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute opened a new 23,000-square-foot orthopedic center in Clearwater, Fla.
- Nashville-based Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance opened a 57,000-square-foot orthopedic campus in Spring Hill, Tenn.
