Here are five notes:
1. Akiva Greenfield and Ori Kanefsky founded LUX with the vision of combining elite primary care and specialist physicians.
2. The network currently includes 32 board-certified Beverly Hills specialist physicians who deliver integrated and cross-disciplinary care.
3. All scheduling and oversees insurance correspondence is completed by a LUX advocate on behalf of the patient.
4. The LUX physicians work at Cedars-Sinai, St. John’s Hospital and UCLA, among others.
5. The network includes physicians in primary care, OB/GYN, cardiology, surgical specialists, allergy and immunology, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT/otolaryngology, gastroenterology, nephrology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pulmonology and rheumatology.
“It’s very simple — we listened,” said Mr. Greenfield. “We listened to patients when they expressed to us their frustrations with the complicated healthcare system and their desire for better access to more personalized, highly coordinated care.”
