45% of U.S. Physicians Regularly Access Clinical Data Outside of Their Organization

Around 45 percent of physicians in the United States report regularly accessing clinical data outside of their organization, according to a survey from Accenture.

Globally, 47 percent of physicians report having access to clinical data outside their organizations and 54 percent of physicians in England say they do. The report also measured the number of physicians in the United States with access to electronic medical records, and 93 percent said they did in 2012.
