According to Ms. Leng, physicians could take the following four steps to help patients regain trust in them:

1. Physicians should not take money from drug companies.
2. Physicians should practice good communication, and answer questions until the patient is satisfied.
3. Physicians should keep up with the latest research and go for conferences.
4. Physicians should follow what the research shows.
