4 Steps For Finding, Integrating Employees Into the Practice

In an American Association of Orthopaedic Executives brief, Janice Keller, a practice management consultant, discusses four steps for finding and integrating the right employee for the job into a medical practice.

The four steps are:

 

1. Clarify your values and ensure that the candidate shares those values.
2. Screen the candidate and use telephone and/or office interviews.
3. Complete the reference check, the background check and then send the offer letter.
4. Integrate the employee using a training plan and leave time for an orientation.
