Here are four orthopedic groups that have merged with the physician-owned practice:
1. Northwest Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine joined Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in July, bringing five physicians and a team of physical therapists.
2. In April, Hinsdale (Ill.) Orthopaedic Associates merged with the practice, adding a team of 31 physicians and eight locations to the group’s network of physicians, rehabilitation and imaging services.
3. Illinois Bone & Joint Institute added Bradley, Ill.-based Oak Orthopedics in March, a 13-physician group with six locations, including a surgery center.
4. In January, Chicago Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine joined the group.
