4 health systems opening spine, orthopedic centers

Here are four health systems from across the U.S. that have opened orthopedic and spine practices in the last month, as reported by Becker’s since July 2:

1. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare opened a new orthopedic office in Peru, Ill. It also partnered with OrthoMidwest, and plans to open a joint venture clinic in Oak Lawn, Ill.

2. Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children’s Hospital opened a $179 million orthopedic facility, the Livingston Orthopedic and Surgery Center.

3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Eau Claire, Wis.-based Mayo Clinic Health System Diagnostic Imaging & Sports Medicine Center.

4. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Health opened a new orthopedic surgeon’s office in La Porte, Ind.
